Pieter BF Swart (1937) is a Professor of Neuropsychology at the University of Amsterdam. He graduated in medicine in 1963 and gained his PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Groningen in 1968. He was appointed professor of Neuropsychology at the University of Amsterdam in 1972, where he works as head of the department of neuropsychology. He is an honorary university lecturer at the Universities of Utrecht and Alicante, and an honorary professor at the University Medical Center Utrecht.
